What should I do if a transfer is rejected or fails?


The rejection or failure of a domain transfer may have different reasons.

  • You will be informed automatically by email if an incoming domain transfer fails. In such cases, please contact your current provider/registrar in order to learn more about the reasons for rejection.
  • If the current provider/registrar does not receive a transfer request from us, this could be due to an invalid e-mail address in the whois of the domain. Consequently, the transfer could not be confirmed.

If you receive a message about a failed transfer under Failed requests, activate the column Text at the top of the screen by choosing Columns. Save this setting and the reason for the failed transfer will be displayed in the Text column.
