How often do I pay for my domain?

How Domain Billing Works:

At Moniker, domain registrations and renewals are billed annually. When you register a domain, you are purchasing it for a full year. The renewal for your domain also covering a year is billed at the end of your current registration period.

Invoice Creation & Customization:

Your renewal invoice is normally generated 10 days before your domain’s expiration date. If you prefer a different schedule, you can adjust when invoices are created in the account settings.

Manual Renewal Option:

Most domains can be renewed manually at any time. If you renew early, a full year is simply added to your domain’s current expiration date.

Changing Billing Dates or Amounts:

Please note:

  • Renewal billing is tied to each domain’s individual registration date, so we cannot combine multiple domains to be billed on the same date.
  • Domains are billed annually; monthly billing or partial billing is not available, even if you no longer need a domain before it expires.

Checking Expiry and Renewal Dates:

Not sure when your domain expires or when your next bill is due? You can easily view these dates in your account dashboard.

Warning About Scam Renewal Emails:

Received a suspicious notice about your domain expiring? Ignore it if:

  • The sender or company name looks unfamiliar.
  • The renewal price is unusually high or odd.
  • You don’t believe your domain is due for renewal or have already paid.

Official domain renewal notifications will always come from Moniker and match your account information.
