You can check your domain’s expiration date directly in your account. If the expiration date has been extended, this confirms that the renewal was completed successfully.
However, in some circumstances, you may still receive an ERRP email stating that your domain is approaching its expiration date. This can happen when the deferred renewal option is enabled in your account. You can be confident that the domain will be renewed, although the renewal may be postponed at registry level and might not be completed immediately.
If you would prefer future renewals to be processed straight away, follow the steps below:
- Sign in to your account at moniker.com. Select “My Account” in the top-right corner of the page, and then choose “My Profile”.
- Find the setting labelled “Defer renewal”. Change this setting to “No” if you want future renewals to be carried out immediately. Please note that once a renewal has been processed in this way, it will no longer be eligible for a refund.
- Save your changes to apply the new renewal preference to your account.
Please note that refunds cannot be issued for renewals that have already been processed at registry level. Make sure you are happy with this arrangement before disabling deferred renewals.
