Refund eligibility for Trustee Service Renewal

Because Trustee is a compliance service that is provisioned to keep your domain eligible with the registry, renewals are generally not refundable once the new term has started and the service remains active.

A refund may be considered when:
- The service was renewed in error (for example, duplicate billing or the service was disabled before the renewal date but still billed), or
- The service was added unintentionally and promptly canceled before use, and
- No registry actions relying on the Trustee (such as maintaining required local contact data) have occurred during the renewed term.

A refund is typically not available when:
- The Trustee service has remained active on the domain during the renewed term, or
- The domain requires local presence and would not be compliant without the Trustee, or
- The request is made well after the renewal completed and the service continued to operate.

Important:
- Each request is reviewed against our Terms and billing policies. Approval is not guaranteed.
- If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible.
